A series of paintings with sound content. The audio listening unlocks a broader understanding of the installation and sets the mood of the exhibition.
Kenneth Stitt´s “Cat Paintings” is a series of paintings around cats containing short sound pieces for each individual work. A narrative, or the illusion of one, is created by the artist in his own voice, delivering autobiographical observations around everyday life, art, painting and the struggle of being an artist or surviving as one.

Uma série de pinturas com conteúdo audio - música e texto. O processo de escuta ajuda-nos a desbloquear um entendimento mais alargado da instalação e abre uma outra via de comunicação entre o artista e o observador. A construção narrativa, ou a aparente ilusão de uma, é narrada na voz de Stitt como um diário de memórias, com observações autobiográficas sobre a vida, a arte e o quotidiano.
